Bernice E. Brazell

Hoosick Falls – Bernice E. Brazell, 86, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Danforth Adult Home in Hoosick Falls, NY, where she had resided since 2007. She had formerly resided on Nixon Street in Hoosick Falls.
Born on March 18, 1924, in Hoosick Falls, Bernice was the daughter of the late John and Bridget (Ladden) Brazell. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy class of 1940 and was later involved in the Grandmother Program at the school for several years. Bernice was employed at the Holman’s Manufacturing Company in Hoosick Falls. Bernice was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Alter & Rosary Society at the Church.
Survivors include several cousins and a dear friend, Linda Narotski. She is pre-deceased by two sisters, Ann and Anita Brazell, and a brother, John Brazell.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, May 11, at 10 am from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial followed the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.
Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. There were no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Academy.
