DAR Good Citizen

Shawn Vasilatos has been selected by the faculty and senior class as the DAR Good Citizen of Berlin High School. Shawn was chosen for demonstrating qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in home, school and community.
He has been Secretary of his class for three years. A member of the National Honor Society, he has also been on the Student Council for three years and serves as President this year. He was a team member in the Cowee Program for International Commerce last year helping to develop a business plan around a scenario provided by the Caterpillar Company. Shawn was one of a group of students who travelled to Washington, D.C. last year to witness the Inauguration of President Obama.
He has been an important team member in sports as well. He has been on the Track team since seventh grade and on the varsity Cross-country team for the past three years.
Shawn is the son of Joseph and Michelle Vasilatos of Berlin.
