Dave Stall To Serve In Rhode Island

May 21, 2010 By eastwickpress

Dave Stall is relocating to Ashaway, RI, to serve as full time Pastor of the First Seventh Day Baptist Church of Hopkinton, established in 1708.  In the 1700s, the Church in Ashaway, RI, sent hundreds of people to settle in the Hoosic River Valley of NY and in 1780 they started the Seventh Day Baptist Church in what is now Berlin. To complete the circle, Dave will be moving along with his wife Jennifer and daughters Lexia and Loreli at the end of June. They are closing their business in Petersburgh, the Brookside Inn, on June 1.
Dave is a 32 year old native of Berlin.  He currently serves as Director of Music and Christian Education at the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Berlin and operates a B&B in Petersburgh.  After many years in music ministry, he started full time at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY, in 2008 in response to God’s call to pastoral ministry.  He is currently completing his Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis on Church Development.  His undergraduate studies were in Business Marketing and Christian Ministry Leadership.  Dave has worked in marketing for Focus On The Family in Colorado Springs and Grace Christian School and Hemmings Publishing, both of Bennington, VT.
