On Friday, May 28, the Seniors’ Ministry of Immaculate Conception/St. Joseph Parish, New Lebanon, will host its regular monthly get together at 11:30 am. This month Deputy Chief Rik McClave of the Stephentown Fire Department will discuss the important points that people need to know when calling 911. He will explain how the Emergency Medical System (EMS) is designed to answer emergency calls and how people should use the system to get the most effective response time. This program is part of a series that focuses on being a smart consumer. Lunch will follow in the parish hall. Everyone from the community is welcome to attend, and there is no charge for lunch.
