Eugene Vogt will be the speaker for the Memorial Day event in Wood Park following the parade on Monday, May 31. Vogt has been a resident of Hoosick Falls since 1982. He joined the military in 1943 and became an enlisted member of the Army’s Fourth Air Force. He has been an officer in the Hoosick Township Historical Society, a Village Trustee, a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, an officer in the local Knights of Columbus and a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher.
