Connor Hoyt, a sophomore at Berlin High School, has been chosen as the school’s Ambassador to the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership seminar to be held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in early June. The mission of HOBY is to seek out, recognize and develop leadership potential starting with high school sophomores.
Connor has been active on the cross-country and track teams, helping the cross-country team to take second place in the Section II Championships last fall. He is also Treasurer of the Rensselaer County 4-H Teen Council. His special interests in 4-H include shooting, archery, rockets and rabbit raising.
Connor is the son of Lisa and Pierce Hoyt of Grafton.
