Honky-Tonk New Lebanon

June 18, 2010 By eastwickpress

The Lebanon Valley Historical Society will present the Annual Potluck Picnic With Remembrances of “Honky-Tonk New Lebanon” on Monday, June 21, at 6:30 pm at the Shaker Meadows Bed & Breakfast, 14209 Route 22, New Lebanon.
Following the usual fine potluck repast, selected raconteurs will discuss the days when New Lebanon drew people from all over to its honky-tonks.  Establishments such as The Showboat, The Ruby, The Pillars, The Sandpiper and The Ski Lodge attracted drinkers, dancers and patrons of other entertainment.  A small exhibit will provide photos and descriptions of these cultural curiosities.
For more information, including directions, call 518-794-9764.
