Jennie F. Shuhart

Berlin – Jennie Frances Wysocki Shuhart, 84, formerly of Miller Road, Berlin, NY, died on Sunday afternoon, May 30, 2010, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center, where she had been a resident since February of 2009.
Born September 2, 1925, in Hoosick Falls, NY, to the late Frank and Regina Pomoski Wysocki, Jennie had been a lifelong resident of the Hoosick Falls/Berlin area. She was the wife of the late Clifton G. “Sonny” Shuhart, Jr., who died on October 14, 2005. She was of the Methodist faith.
Jennie was a homemaker who dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She greatly missed Sonny. Together, they could be seen dining out in local establishments.
Survivors include her children, David F. and wife Pat Shuhart of Cherry Plain, NY, George C. and wife Donna Shuhart of Berlin, Carol A. Hammersmith, widow of John, and Allen J. Shuhart, both of Berlin, eleven grandchildren,  Aletha Cummings, Missy Phillips, Kathy Burdick, Derrick Shuhart, Jennifer Gates, George Shuhart Jr., Kerri Teal, Davey, Jillian and Nicole Shuhart and Stacey Larabee, along with eleven great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by siblings, Henry and Charles Wysocki, Lucy Bedard and Stasia Roberto.
Relatives and friends were invited to the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh, NY, for visitation on Wednesday, June 2, from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services were held on Wednesday evening at 7 pm with Rev. Robert J. Hurd officiating. Following cremation, Jennie will be buried with her husband in the Berlin Baptist Cemetery on Saturday, June 5, at 11 am. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to the home of Joey and Kathy Burdick to continue the celebration of Jennie’s life.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Berlin Rescue Squad in loving memory of Jennie F. Shuhart.
