Jennifer Gundrum Recognized As An Outstanding Business Student

Berlin High School Business Teacher Karen Deiana chose Jennifer Gundrum as this year’s 2010 Outstanding Business Education student. This honor is awarded to a student for academic achievement, outstanding citizenship and positive attitude.
Jennifer was recognized at the 17th Annual Outstanding Business Education Student Awards dinner on May 6, at the Holiday Turf Inn, in Colonie, NY, along with 39 other outstanding students from area schools. This event is sponsored by the Business and Marketing Educators’ Association of the

Capital District, the Adirondack Business Educators’ Association, Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, School Systems Federal Credit Union and New York State United Teachers.
After graduation, Jennifer plans to attend John Paolo’s Xtreme Beauty Institute of Cosmetology and aspires to open her own business.  “I admire Jennifer for her enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit; she also possesses many of the essential qualities for success in business today,” said Deiana.
Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Gundrum of Petersburgh.
