The Stephentown Food Pantry will be closed on Saturday, July 3, because of the holiday; please plan accordingly. The pantry is usually open every Saturday morning from 9 to 11 am at the Stephentown Federated Church, Garfield Road (County Route 26). Appointments are not needed. As always, requests for help are confidential. For information, call 518-733-5923 or 733-0268.
The recent Postal Carriers’ Food Drive in Stephentown was a great success. The Stephentown Food Pantry thanks the carriers and all who contributed to stock our shelves with a variety of staples.
The Stephentown Food Pantry offers short term assistance to residents of Stephentown, NY, and Hancock, MA. This volunteer group has been serving the community since 1983. If you wish to donate money to help fund the pantry, you may send checks to the Stephentown Food Pantry Treasurer at P. O. Box 387, Stephentown, NY, 12168. Nonperishable food donations may be left at the Stephentown Library.
