Angelo Bud Acocella

Stephentown – Angelo Bud Acocella died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, NY. He was 61.
Bud and his wife Susan moved to Stephentown from New Rochelle, NY, ten years ago. They would have celebrated 41 years of marriage this September. He worked over twenty-five years for NYNEX/Verizon before his retirement. He was an avid reader, loved classic cars and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He honorably served in the Marine Corps from1968-73.
He is survived by his devoted wife and two daughters, Beth Acocella and husband Carmine of New Rochelle and Stephanie Marrone and husband John of Poughquag, NY, and six grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services were held in New Rochelle. Interment followed at Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
