July 2, 2010 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
A retirement party for Carl Brownell was held in the bus garage on Thursday, June 24. Transportation Supervisor Charlie Weeden told the gathering that Carl was a lot of fun – usually at someone else’s expense. Weeden said Carl always had the buses ready to roll. “He taught me a lot when I first came here.” Weeden added that Carl could always make a bus run for a few months more. Carl had a good teacher too.
