East Coast Benefit For Shaun Conway

On Thursday, August 12, there will be a Chicken BBQ Fundraiser at The Polish Hall for Shaun Conway, son of the late Michael Conway. Shaun has recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer in San Diego, California.
Shaun’s East Coast family is holding a fundraiser to help raise money for his medical expenses and for The Relay for Life.  Shaun has been going through a number of immunotherapies to help slow the progression of the disease and has already had a kidney removed.
Dinner servings will start at 4  pm until sold out. The one half barbecued chicken will be prepared by Tim Hopkins and dinner includes potato salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob and a roll. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling 686-4829. There will also be raffles and a baked goods auction.
