Hoosick Grange News – June 2010

Hoosick Grange had a work meeting on June 23. Master David Cornell talked and had discussions on what’s going on in Albany and many other things.
The Lecturer had many different articles displayed on tables. The Grangers looked these over to get ideas for a fair booth. After much discussion they think they might have an idea they can use. The Lecturer had an original poem, titled “Spring Cleaning.”
The next meeting is on July 14, and it’s Dairy Night. David Schmidt is chairman. Refreshment Committee is Helen Filkins.
July 11 is the Pomona Picnic at Brunswick. It starts at 12 noon. Bring a lawn chair, a covered dish to share and your own place setting.
On July 28 at Hoosick Grange, the Cinnamon Roll Contest will be held. The Lecturer hopes we have lots of entrees. Refreshments were served by the C.F.A. Committee.
