A prescription drug collection event was held in Hoosick Falls on Saturday, July 24. The question most commonly asked by those who came to the police station that day was “When are you doing this again?”
In an effort to keep youth from gaining access to prescription drugs and to assist people in properly disposing of unused medicines, vitamins and supplements, Rensselaer County STOP DWI, the Hoosick Falls Police, the Sheriff’s Department and other police departments throughout Rensselaer County have organized a series of these events throughout the County.
