August Events At The New Lebanon Library

• Wednesdays – 11 am – Tales for Tots Story Hour. Story hour includes crafts, songs and movement activities for children aged 1 to 5 years.
• Thursdays – 12 pm – Hug-A-Bye Babies – age appropriate stories, songs and movement activities for our youngest patrons and their parents.
• August 6  – 6 pm – Coffeehouse Night – an evening of music with popular Berkshire singer/songwriter Linda Worster; light refreshments provided.
• August 11 – 1:30 pm – Wow Wii! gaming for kids. Kids ages 7-12, bring your games and your appetite! We’ll provide a Nintendo Wii, Rock Band 2, Beatles Rock Band, Wii Sports and more!
• August 12 – 1:30 pm – Board Games for Kids. Play Monopoly, Pictionary, Candyland and more! There will be games for kids of all ages and snacks, too!
• August 13 and 27 – 1:30 pm – Crafts for Kids – unusual craft projects for kids aged 5 and up.
• August 13 – 6:30 pm – Family Movie Night – free showing of a current film suitable for the whole family. Call for title. Popcorn provided.
• August 16 – 6 pm – Poetry Group. Poets and aspiring poets are invited to come and share their work.
• August 20 – 6 pm – Preschool Pajama Party. Preschoolers can wear their PJs and bring their blankies to hear a story and watch a movie selected just for them! Bedtime snacks provided. Older siblings are welcome, too.
• August 30 – 6 pm – Wow Wii! Games Night for Teens ‘n Tweens. Teens aged 12 to 17, bring your games and your appetite! We’ll provide the pizza, as well as a Nintendo Wii, Rock Band 2, Beatles Rock Band, Wii Sports and more!
• September 1 – 1 pm – Afternoon Movie for Kids. Come enjoy a free showing of a current film suitable for the whole family. Call for title. Popcorn provided.

For more information, please call the Library at 518-794-8844. The Library is located at 550 State Route 20, ¼ mile north of the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Routes 20/22. All these events take place at the Library.
