Daniel W. Hill

Petersburgh – Daniel W. Hill, 57, of Church Hollow Road, Petersburgh, NY, died on Friday, August 13, 2010, due to injuries he received in an accident at his residence.
Born in Troy, NY, on March 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Andrew A. and Ruth M. Crandall Hill. He attended Berlin, NY, schools and was a member of the Grafton Baptist Church where he also served on the Board of Trustees.
Dan worked for the Town of Petersburgh Highway Department, the Morrison Automotive Group of Bennington, VT, and Southworth Machine in Menands, NY. For the last 25 years, he has been owner/operator of Mobile Repair Man of Petersburgh. He enjoyed hiking and motorcycling but most of all visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include his daughter, Danielle H. Wagner of Latham, NY, a granddaughter, Miranda D. Wagner, siblings, Peter Hill of Williamstown, MA, Michael Hill of Petersburgh, Robert Hill of Grafton, NY, and Marge Mosher of Riverview, FL, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and a time of remembrances were held on Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock in the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh, where Rev. Jason White officiated. Relatives and friends were invited to the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 6:45 pm for visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grafton Baptist Church in loving memory of Daniel W. Hill.
