Hoosick Planning Board

John Nealon appeared before the Hoosick Planning Board Monday evening, August 16. It was his first visit, in which he outlined some boundary line changes he wants to make. After discussing the project with the Board, he will return with the necessary deeds and survey next month.
Subway
Sheila Duncan, who operates the Sunoco station on Route 7, returned to the Board with detailed plans for a proposed Subway restaurant to be located in the former car wash on the property. She appeared to have all the necessary drawings and applications in order. Planning Board Attorney Dennis King said the completed package will have to be sent to the County for approval, particularly since the building is on Route 7, a main artery and a State highway. Duncan will come before the Board again next month to see if the County requires any additions or deletions.
