Dyken Pond staff were excited to find a wood turtle this summer.

Wood turtles are semi-aquatic, meaning they are happy either on land or in water. They eat a variety of food including plants, snails and slugs. Wood turtles are very calm. We had a great time observing our friend before he went on his turtle way!
