September 3, 2010 By eastwickpress

The final camp of the Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition 2010 summer enrichment series had youngsters taking a road trip along Historic Route 66 from Chicago to California. Campers created scenes from each of the eight states along the “Main Street of America” and presented a showcase, complete with a Route 66 diner and an Air Streamer camper, for friends and parents to explore.
Camp dates for 2011 are already posted on the HAYC3 website, www.hoosickyouth.org. There will be February and April vacation camps, as well as four camps during summer vacation. Themes will be announced later in the year. For information, visit the website or call 518-686-9050.
Open House
Registration information will also be available at the Youth Center Open House on September 15 from 5 to 7 pm. The Youth Center is located at 115 Church Street, Hoosick Falls.
