Timothy Etman from Grafton was recently promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in a ceremony held at the Stephentown Town Hall. Etman’s rank is recognized by the following organization: John Izzo’s Okinawan Karate, Stephentown Self Defense Systems and Green Island Academy of Martial Arts. On behalf of the instructors and students of these organizations we wish to congratulate Mr. Etman on his achievement.
Timothy F. Etman is the son of Timothy and Pauline Etman of Old Road in Grafton. He is a 2006 graduate of Berlin High School. At 7 years old he started Uechi-Ryu Karate for 4 years. At the age of 10 he started studying Okinawan Karate and American Kenpo with Sensei Fish at the Green Island Academy of Martial Arts.
He is not only a student but has become one of the most entrusted instructors at Green Island Academy of Martial Arts and at Stephentown Self Defense Systems.
His hard work and dedication is a reflection of his character and integrity.
