St. Mary’s Academy is pleased to announce that Maureen Daurio will be joining St. Mary’s as Principal for the upcoming school year. Maureen was born and raised in Troy where she attended St. Augustine’s School and Catholic Central High School. She received her BA from Russell Sage College and her MA from SUNY Albany. She completed her Certification in Administration for the Building Level as well as the District Level through the Institute for New Era Educational Leadership and Innovation at the College of Saint Rose. Maureen has a strong background in teaching and has been a middle school social studies and religion teacher in the Albany Diocese for ten years.
The St. Mary’s community looks forward to the upcoming school year and welcomes the experience and enthusiasm that Maureen brings.
