The Berlin Central School District in collaboration with TRACs (Together Reducing Alcohol and Drugs in our Communities) will hold a Family Drug Awareness Meeting and Dinner on Saturday, October 16. The dinner and information session will be held from 5 to 7 pm at the Berlin Middle High School.
This public event is intended to share information with the community about drug use in our community, current plans to decrease drug use in our communities and information on the consequences for drug use.
The dinner will begin at 5 and will be followed by an informational meeting in the auditorium. The program will feature teens from a local drug treatment program who will share the impact that their drug use has had on them and their families.
There will be activities for those children who would prefer not to attend the meeting. Child care will be provided for those activities.
Please call the Main Office at the Berlin Middle School High School to reserve your seat for dinner. Reservations can be made with Mrs. Shupe, Mrs. Nash or Mrs. Adams.
There is no cost for the dinner or the informational meeting. This event is open to all in the community who wish to participate.
