GLSP October Events

Friday, October 8 – Star Watch at 7 pm at Main Lot.  Enjoy a guided tour of the night sky with the Albany Area Astronomers Association;  last one until Spring!  Rain date is Saturday, October 9.
Wednesday, October 13 – Trail Advisory Meeting at 6 pm. Do you love hitting the trails and want to help to improve the Park’s 25 miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding paths? Join the Trail Advisory Committee which will meet at the Shaver Nature Center, 194 Shaver Pond Road, Grafton.
Saturday, October 30 – Trick or Treat Nature Trail at Grafton Lakes State Park from 5 to 7 pm. Solve some mysteries, use your senses to discover some strange things in the forest and, if you’re lucky, find some treats! There will be face painting and kids crafts, cider and s’mores; $3 per person; departing from Shaver Nature Center, 194 Shaver Pond Road in Grafton.
