The Town of Hoosick Lions Club recently presented a $500 donation to support the construction of the Veterans Memorial Wall in the Village Park in Hoosick Falls.
The Hoosick Lions Club is this year celebrating its 50th year of service to the Hoosick Falls Community. The Lions motto “We Serve” is no better defined than in Hoosick Falls where its members sponsor the

Annual Road Race in May, the Penny Hunt at Easter, delicious foods for the Memorial Day Parade and the PTA Fall Festival as well as its annual Christmas tree sale. The Lions also have a strong history in raising awareness of eye diseases and diabetes as well as serving youth through support of local children’s activities and school programs.
The Lions Club welcomes you to find out more about the organization. For further information, please contact Peter Church or a member of the Club.
If You Have Served, Your Name Should Be On The Wall
Also, a reminder that names of veterans from Hoosick serving from World War II to the present are still being compiled for the Wall. If you need a form, please contact any member of the committee – Phil Leonard, Bea Peterson, Marilyn Douglas, Katie Bradley, Bob Becker, Jerry McAuliffe, Walter Zwinge or Stan Brownell. Forms are also available at the Village of Hoosick Falls and Town of Hoosick offices.
