Patricia A. Helgert

Hoosick Falls – Patricia A. Helgert, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She had resided on Waldron Avenue in Hoosick Falls, NY, with her husband Edward Helgert Jr.
Patricia was born on March 17, 1943, in Waterbury, CT. She graduated from Crosby High School in Connecticut, and from Nursing School in Connecticut, becoming a R.N. Patricia practiced nursing in Connecticut and Vermont, drove school buses and later became a homemaker. She and her husband were foster parents for many years.
Survivors, other than her husband Edward Jr., include her daughter, Lyn and husband Tom Parker of Shaftsbury, VT, her son, Edward Helgert III of Hoosick Falls, foster children, Amanda Bull, George Kimball, Kathy Darby and Sarah Pepoon, along with several others.
A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, October 10, at 2 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
