Richard Moulton

Petersburgh – Richard Leon Moulton, 96, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center in Hoosick Falls, NY. He had formerly resided on Varville Road in Petersburgh, NY. Richard was the husband of Ruth (Walker) Moulton, who died in 2001.
Born on June 4, 1914, in Topsam, VT, he was the son of the late Leon and Fannie (French) Moulton. He attended schools in Vermont. Richard worked as a farmer and diesel mechanic all of his life.
Survivors include his children, Roy Moulton of Martinez, CA, David Moulton of Pine Dale, WY, Elsie Petit of New Port, VT, Richard Moulton Jr. of Lyman, NH, and Rebecca Aldrich of Petersburgh and his brother, John Henry Moulton of Maryland. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Richard is pre-deceased by a brother, Philip Moulton.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls.
