The open sign is hung again for the first time in three months as the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center reopens its café.
The café is open school days from 7 to 9 am. Inside walking, coffee, breakfast goodies and great conversation are available at no charge to veterans. Others who eat are welcome to leave a nominal donation.
The café is manned by volunteers, and any offer to open or close would be greatly appreciated. Pop in some morning and sign up on the calendar hanging on the kitchen refrigerator.
