The North Hoosick Fire Department will sponsor its eighth annual free Christmas Bazaar which will be held on Saturday, December 18, from 9 am to 1 pm at the fire station on Rt. 22. This year the Fire Department is asking area businesses and individuals to donate new or like new items for this bazaar. Cash donations are also welcome and can be sent to the Fire Department. These donations will be used to purchase new items such as clothes, toys, shoes and games for children. Help make the holidays special for some families. The bazaar is held each year to help out the needy families in the area who are not fortunate enough to provide a nice Christmas for their children. Our goal is to put a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning, and, with the help of the community, we can make it happen.
Anyone who would like to donate items to this bazaar can bring items to the fire station on Rt. 22 on Monday evenings between 6:30 and 9 pm or can contact the following members for assistance – Rick Ferrannini at 686-4728, Butch Conway at 686-5175 or Alan Bornt at 378-4538. If necessary, the Fire Department will pick up donations at your home.
