HFCS Drama Club Presentations Are A Hit

November 24, 2010 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
Giggles, titters and laughs were continuous during this past weekend’s performances by the HFCS Drama Club. It took 17 performers to carry off the one act “Cabfare for the Common Man,” with a simple set, a fast pace and clever lines. Two visible and two invisible performers made for the laughable “Presentation: Understanding a Satire.” Then came The Importance of Being Earnest.
Costumes and sets were outstanding. Performances terrific, laughs – plentiful. Congratulations to everyone involved for the making of a great production. It obviously takes a huge amount of work to carry off such a program. The list of those involved includes Director/Music Director Robert Allen, Costume Director Missi Reynolds, Set Design/Lead Builder Charles Krowczyk, Light Board Operator Demitri Tracy, Sound Engineer Nick Downing, Stage Manager Katie Bakaitis, Makeup Supervisor Marcia Keefe,  Props Managers Amber Luke and Mary Luke and Program Designer Ayla Graney. Performing Arts Booster Club Officers – Presidents Dwain and Beth Wilwol, Treasurer Jane Kuke, Secretary Tammy Bird and Fundraiser Maggie Middleton.
