The Berlin Central School Community came together on October 23 and 24 as the Berlin FCCLA sponsored Make A Difference Day. The day was dedicated to the memory of Larry Baker, local Stewart’s manager Betty Baker’s husband, who passed away recently. More than 40 volunteers, youth and adults, raked leaves, dug bulbs and put up mailboxes for Senior Citizens and others in need in the four communities of the Berlin School District. Shirts were presented, thanks to Stewart’s and Agostino Sports Wear. FCCLA advisor Dianne Mosher made and delivered lunches to the various worksites. More than a dozen people benefited from the volunteers efforts!
