The New Lebanon Book Group will meet Sunday, December 5, at 11 am at the New Lebanon Library to discuss Tinkers by Paul Harding. This debut novel received the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
In a starred review, Publisher’s Weekly described Tinkers as “The history and final thoughts of a dying grandfather surrounded by his family in his New England home.” Booklist said it is a “rare and beautiful novel of spiritual inheritance and acute psychological and metaphysical suspense.”
Newcomers to the book group are always welcome. Copies of the book are available through the New Lebanon and the Stephentown libraries.
