Closed For Thanksgiving
SML will be closed on Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26, in observance of Thanksgiving. We will be open Saturday, November 27, as usual to meet your needs.  We wish you a warm and happy holiday.
Family Movie Night
Bring the kids and come on Friday, November 26, at 7 pm for a showing of Ramona and Beezus. The adventures of young Ramona Quimby and her big sister Beezus come to life in this film based on the best selling books by Beverly Cleary. Ramona’s vivid imagination, boundless energy and accident prone antics keep everyone she meets on their toes, but her irrepressible sense of fun, adventure and mischief come in handy when she puts her mind to helping save her family’s home. This movie is rated G. Popcorn and juice will be provided.
Pet Food For Fines
Do you owe fines to the Stephentown Memorial Library? Use them to feed local pets in need. Pet food (dry or canned) will be accepted in lieu of fines the week of November 29 through December 4. Fines for overdue materials (regardless of amount) will be cleared from your record at the rate of one fine per one non-perishable, unexpired, unopened pet food donation. Only overdue items – not lost or damaged items – are eligible. All food donations will be forwarded to the Stephentown Food Pantry for distribution to needy pets in Stephentown. So clear your conscience of all those overdue books and benefit your community at the same time!
