The 109th Air Wing out of Scotia, NY, had a Promotion Ceremony for two of their members from the same family. Kelly Littlejohn from Scotia and Barry MacDonald from Grafton were promoted to Master Sergeant. They both are part of the 109th Air Wing Unit that transports supplies to the scientists at Antarctica. Barry has also been on several transports to the South Pole. They both volunteered and completed tours overseas in the past. Kelly’s parents, Kurt and Carol Yerg of Petersburgh showed much support to their daughter and son-in-law through the overseas tours and are very proud to have two family members achieving this rank.
