Hoosick Falls – Lancelee James Trimm, 21, beloved son of Melodee James and Wayne Trimm, passed away on November 27, 2010. Lancelee was a citizen of the world, a People To People ambassador to Australia and was able to find music in everything.
Lancelee graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School in 2007 and was studying percussion at the Collective School of Music in NYC. Lancelee’s creativity also expanded into theater, poetry and art. Lancelee and his father recently had a joint art exhibition at the South Street Cafe in Bennington, VT, and Lancelee’s work
was also recently featured at the Clock Tower Gallery in New York. While Lancelee’s legacy resides in the arts, his family and friends will remember him most for his kindness, generosity, compassion and spirit.

A New Orleans style celebration of life will be held in his honor on December 11 at 2 pm at Cornerstone Fellowship in Hoosick Falls, NY, with a reception to follow. A similar celebration will be held in NYC at a future date.
A scholarship is being established in his name to help other future troubadours spread the gift of music. Donations can also be sent to “The Lancelee Project,” a program to help children traumatized by war to heal through art, c/o Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 957, Bennington, VT, 05201.
