Panther Bowlers Win Two More

On Monday the Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Hoosic Valley at Hilltop Lanes by the score of 4 to 0. Hoosick Falls now has a record of 8-0 and Hoosic Valley is 3-9. Hoosick Falls had its highest pin total of the young season with 3,693 to Hoosic Valley’s 3,377.

Top bowler for Hoosic Valley was Kala Acker with a nice 255-684 and top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Joe Wolfrum with a great 257-738, Chris Pelletier 233-644, Bryan Callahan 266-629, James Lynch 258-611, Mitch Andrew 211-588, Cody LaFlamme 237-576 and Josh McCart 202-566. Hoosick Falls also had some good JV scores – Ken Marbot 245-629, Josh Conn 222-604, Jordan Colvin 204-556, Stephen Surdam 186-515 and Josh Reveal 203-510.
“The kids really bowled great on dry lane conditions. They made the proper lane adjustments early in the match and kept adjusting as the lanes kept breaking down. Joe Wolfrum bowled a great 738 along with some other great scores by the varsity bowlers. It was definitely a total team effort. I was glad to see some good scores from the JV bowlers,” said Coach Lang.
On Tuesday the Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Lake George on Tuesday by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls now has a record of 12-0 and Lake George is 4-4. Hoosick Falls won the total pin count by the score of 3,480 to 2,254 for Lake George. Top bowler for Lake George was Bobby Wells with a 213-525 and top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Chris Pelletier 278-715, Mikaela Marbot 278-655, Cody LaFlamme 255-649, James Lynch 233-611, Mitch Andrew 223-580, Bryan Callahan 212-564, Ken Marbot 203-540 and Josh Conn 191-510.
“We had some really good individual games by Chris, Mikaela, Cody and James that carried the team to another good win. The team is bowling well up to this point, and I hope that it continues in our big match against Schuylerville on Thursday; they are usually our toughest competition in the league,” said Coach Lang.
