Relax Body And Mind At Nirvana Day Spa

December 3, 2010 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
The charming little building at 42 Church Street that formerly housed Sutton Real Estate is now Nirvana Day Spa, owned and operated by Kimberly Revet. The goal of the Spa is to bring balance to life. The staff hopes the services they offer help a person “surrender his or her senses, relax the mind, rejuvenate the body and replenish the soul.”
Nirvana offers seven different facials, seven different massages, body wraps, electrolysis, waxing, manicures, pedicures and hair styling. Appointments for massages and electrolysis are available seven days a week. Other services are available by appointment every day except Sunday. Revet does the hair removal,

body treatments, manicures, pedicures and facials. Heather Wysocki is the Certified Professional Electrologist and Christine Dartt, Marjani McCline and Jennifer Booth handle the massages. The hair stylist is Angel Day. She also does manicures and pedicures.
The majority of treatments sound so luxurious – seaweed body wrap and masque, Swedish massage, European facial. Then there are the practical ones such as a pregnancy massage or an acne/teen facial. The Spa has an endless variety of ways to pamper oneself.
Manicures, pedicures and hair styling are done on the first floor of the Church Street building. The second floor has a room for relaxing, one for massage and another for facials, body treatments and electrolysis.
One bride has reserved the entire facility the day before her wedding and the day of the wedding. She and the wedding party will get the full treatment the one day and have their hair done and get dressed there on the wedding day. Other bridal parties have come in just for the day.
Spa Party
Revet and company offer Spa Parties for groups, either at the Church Street site or in someone’s home. She said that one Superbowl Sunday a group of women got together for a “Superwoman” party with manicures, pedicures, facials and massages. They had a wonderful time! Nirvana also offers travel massages for individuals who are house bound. For groups they also offer on site chair massages.
Revet opened the Spa on Church Street in August. “People drop in every day,” she said. “It’s going significantly better than I expected.” She said they could use one more massage therapist and one more hairdresser. The Spa has space to rent to someone who can enhance the services they already offer.
Once a month someone comes in to do tarot cards and astrology readings.
For more information on the Nirvana Day Spa visit the website www.Nirvanaspadday.com. To make an appointment, drop in or call 686-5536 or 461-9933. Gift certificates are also available.
