Darrow School’s Coffeehouse Features Blues Musician

As part of its diverse music programming, Darrow School will present Coffeehouse, an evening of acoustic music, poetry, comedy and spoken word on Friday, January 28, starting at 8:30 pm. In addition to Darrow student and faculty musicians, local blues musician John Clarke will give an exclusive performance.
Clarke is a multitalented musician and artist. He is a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter with the band Bell Engine as well as a painter, photographer and printmaker. Last week he worked intensively with students in Darrow’s Singer/Songwriter class, helping them hone their music writing techniques and develop their creativity.
