Half Hour Power Outage For Village Scheduled

At both the Hoosick Town Board meeting and the Hoosick Falls Village Board meeting, Board members expressed concerns about a National Grid power outage planned for Saturday, January 22, from noon to 12:30 pm. All of them felt this cold weather was a poor time to schedule an outage. Village residents were notified by telephone of the planned outage which is needed so repairs can be made to power transformers without endangering the linemen. In case of inclement weather, the outage will be the following Saturday, January 29, at the same time.
This outage will affect Hoosick Falls residents only.
