Panther Pinmen Rack Up Two More

The Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Corinth by the score of 4-0 on Thursday, January 13.  Total pins for Hoosick Falls were 3,479 to 2,195 pins for Corinth.  Hoosick Falls’ record is now 34-6 and Corinth’s record is now 13-27.
Top bowler for Corinth was Jared Vanderwarker with a 160-422. Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Joe Wolfrum 232-673, Bryan Callahan 222-653, Cody LaFlamme 211-567, Mitch Andrew 212-560 and Chris Pelletier 214-553.
Top JV scores were  Mikaela Marbot 215, Josh McCart 194, Jordan Colvin 177 and Stephen Surdam 174.
“This was a good win after our last match loss to Fort Edward.  Hopefully, this will get the team back on track. Joe and Bryan both had a great day with some good scores and Chris, Cody and Mitch were also there with some good individual games. We have three matches next week which will end the regular season.  I hope we can keep focused and finish on strong so we are ready for the post season events,” said Coach Lang.
On Wednesday, January 19, the Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Hoosic Valley by the score of 4-0.  Hoosick Falls had 3,729 total pins and Hoosic Valley had 2,910 total pins. Hoosick Falls now has a record of 38-6 and Hoosic Valley has a record of 24-20.
Top bowler for Hoosic Valley was Kaila Acker with a 230-535.  Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Mitch Andrew 278-762, Joe Wolfrum 258-645, James Lynch 225-609, Chris Pelletier 237-609 and Bryan Callahan 214-592.
We had some good JV scores also,  Josh McCart 248-665, Mikaela Marbot 232-640, Josh Conn 214-587 and Jordan Colvin 197-547.
“This was a big win for the team. We need to keep bowling well if we are going to win the Southern Division of our league with two matches left in the season. The team bowled great with some big scores by both Varsity and JV bowlers. We need to keep our focus and keep working hard for these last two matches which are on away lanes at Whitehall and Stillwater. I know the team is up for the challenge,”  said Coach Lang
