Stephen Sawyer Graduates From Navy Basic Training

Stephen M. Sawyer, son of Brian and Stella Sawyer of North Hoosick, graduated from Navy Basic Training at Great Lakes, IL, on December 3, 2010, in a ceremony attended by his family.
A 2009 graduate of Hoosick Falls Central School and a member of the North Hoosick Fire Department,  Stephen has now been transferred to San Antonio, TX, Lackland Air Force Base for training in the military law enforcement and regulations field in order to become a Navy Master-At-Arms. Training is expected to be completed in early spring, after which, he will await permanent orders.
