The Stephentown Food Pantry wishes to thank all the generous people who have donated food and money to the pantry during the past year. This broad community support allowed us to provide food for 5,485 meals to forty-three families in 2010. We thank the local stores that help us: Dhruvi Mart, Sykes Store and New Lebanon Stewart’s Shop. The assistance of these local stores is invaluable.
Many individuals and organizations have provided money and food donations: Stephentown Girl Scouts, Veterans of the Stephentown Area, Stephentown Federated Church, Stephentown Seniors, Hancock Baptist Church, Hancock Volunteer Fire Department, Berlin Elementary School and its PTO, United Sabbathkeepers congregation, Postal Carriers’ food drives, Zwack Inc., Kinderhook Creek Farm, East Greenbush Weight Watchers, Wyndham at Bentley Brook, Cumberland Farms, Stephentown Memorial Library patrons and some home gardeners and egg farmers. We especially thank the Stephentown Federated Church for providing space for the Pantry and the Stephentown Seniors for providing something extra for the children of families receiving holiday baskets.
