Beverly M. Yavaniski

Hoosick Falls – Beverly M. Johnson Yavaniski, 78, of Dolan Avenue, Hoosick Falls, NY, died on Sunday evening, February 13, 2011, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center where she has resided since November.
Born in the Town of Saratoga on December 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mamie Gifford Johnson. She was the loving wife of the late Charles G. Yavaniski, who died on March 20, 1998. They were married on February 27, 1960, and Beverly had been a resident of Hoosick Falls since then.
Educated in Greenwich, NY, schools, Mrs. Yavaniski worked at the Nancy Shoe Co. and Allied Signal in Hoosick Falls, where she retired in 1991. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search games. Her true love was that of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Charles J. and Terry Yavaniski of Hoosick Falls, Gary M. and Kathy Yavaniski of Valley Falls, NY, and Karen C. and Clark Hemeon of Hoosick Falls, along with grandchildren, Eric Thomas, Ashlee, Hunter and C.J., Carlee and Celia Yavaniski and Clark Hemeon.
It was Beverly’s wishes that there be no calling hours. Relatives and friends were invited to her graveside service on Thursday morning, February 17, at 10 am in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
Memorial contributions in Beverly’s memory may be made to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, 21 First Street, Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090.
Arrangements are under the guidance of the Robson-Reinfurt Funeral Home of Hoosick Falls.
