David Allen Amidon

Hoosick – David Allen Amidon, born in Troy, NY, died in San Francisco, California, May 31, 1955 – February 15, 2011. The memories that David left for his family and friends are between the “dash.”
David was the son of Beverly (Edward) Flood of Walloomsac, NY, and the late Rodney E. Amidon. He was the father of Karla and husband David Jordon and grandfather of Logan and Kiela of Hague, NY. He was the brother of Rodney and his wife Lynn (deceased) of Hamlin, NY, Daniel and his wife Cindy of Kenly, NC, Dennis and wife Ute of Mountaindale, NY, Bonnie and her husband Shaun Courtney of Portsmouth, RI, Catherine Russell of Berlin, NY, Eric and wife Kathleen of Walloomsac and adopted sister, Nina Prebble of Pittstown, NY. David was also uncle to several nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his dear friend, William Nunes of San Francisco, CA.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the AIDS Foundation through the funeral home.
