Entries Wanted For The St. Patrick’s Day Parade

February 25, 2011 By eastwickpress

Get your group together and come join us for the 20th Annual Hoosick Falls St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 12. The Parade starts at 1 pm from Wood Park in downtown Hoosick Falls.
We are looking for groups that would like to participate in the parade. Church groups, schools, scout groups, musicians, horses, cars or …anyone with an idea for an entry. It can be anything, from people marching to an elaborate float or anything in between. The wackier the better – use your imagination but remember the Irish theme! This year’s theme is Famous Irish Americans. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best theme float and first, second and third places.
For an entry form contact Kevin O’Malley at 518-686-9460 or Marie O’Neil 518-686-4829 or email hoosickkid@gmail.com.
