Town Of Hoosick Rescue Squad Recognition Dinner

The Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad held its 54th Annual Recognition Dinner on February 6 at Theresa’s Restaurant in Hoosick.
Special plaques were awarded to Tanya Brock for five years service, Georgianna Parker for 10 years and Ronald Sampath for 15 years. Special recognition was given to Jerry McAuliffe (the mailman) and his son Jerry. They were made honorary members as they provide a special service to the Squad. A special award was given to the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for serving the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad and the community for 54 years. This award was received by Karen Hewson, a 39 year veteran of the hospital. North Hoosick Fire Chief and Dispatcher Alan Bornt received a plaque for the Hoosick Falls Dispatchers.
