February 19, Saturday – Backyard Birding at 11 am with Bob Davis.  Learn the basics of backyard birding and bird feeding in winter. You’ll participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count! Pre-registration preferred. the cost is $2 per person. Meet at the Grafton Lakes State Park Office.
February 23, Wednesday – Winter Recess Program – Animal Tracks and Traces at 10 am at Grafton Lakes State Park. An introduction to reading the stories left by fox, deer,  rabbits and  other forest dwellers in the snow. Meet at the Grafton Lakes State Park Office. This beginners class is ideal for children. The cost is $3 per person which includes snowshoe rental. Registration is required as space is limited.
February 26, Saturday – Cherry Plain State Park Winterlude from 10 am to 3 pm. Enjoy hot cocoa, snowshoeing and outdoor activities at this free park event. Parking space is limited, so please carpool.
