She thanked the Grange and support staff. She had pictures she showed on our new screen. She said the theme was “It’s All About Us.” She said there were 135 people there from eight states and more the next day. The National Grange Master, Mr. Ed Luttrell, made a presentation called “Grange Teamwork.” Barbara Jones, Communication Director of National Grange, made a presentation. Patrick Hooker of New York, presented a program on “The Asian Long Horned Beetle” and its effect on maple trees. Phil Prelli from Connecticut was also on the panel and made a report. They had a banquet and entertainment program, the Highlight Acting Troupe. Martha said they were excellent. The National Master, Ed Luttrell, spoke and had a Powerpoint® presentation on “What We Must Do.” Martha had many pictures. Her program was very interesting. The Lecturer thanked Martha.
The Grange had a short business meeting because of the predicted bad weather. They had delicious refreshments provided by the Brenenstuhls and Cornells.
Our next meeting is on March 23 at 7:30 pm. Grangers, note the time change. The great Hoosick Falls Central School Jazz Band will be performing for us.
Grangers, remember cookies. Everyone is invited to hear this great band. All are welcome.
