Local Author Book Signing

March 18, 2011 By eastwickpress

On March 19 author Sharon Lynne Rounds will attend a book signing event from 1 to 3 pm at the Sand Lake Town Library, 8428 Miller Hill Rd., Averill Park. Rounds, a resident of Averill Park, will be available to sign copies of her children’s book, The Gootzes Go to Giza.
When the Gootz family takes a trip up the Nile River through ancient Egypt to Giza they have no idea what is in store. They begin their search for treasure in the Great Pyramid of King Khufu. Along the way, they encounter ancient Egyptians, learn about their way of life and develop an appreciation for it and for each other. The journey is filled with fun and riddled with danger. Each of the Gootzes gets a chance to be a hero, as they are helped and hindered by various Egyptian spirits and deities. The Gootzes Go to Giza is an adventure you will not soon forget.
