Hoosick Falls – Anna Hoffman, 95, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center, where she had resided since 2008. Anna was the wife of the late Ralph Hoffman, who died in 1984.
Born on October 18, 1915, in Hoosick Falls, NY, Anna was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Blinstrub) Savage. She attended schools in Hoosick Falls and was employed at several area businesses. Anna later would help on the family farm. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls.
Survivors include her son, Richard Hoffman and his family, and her extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, March 25, at St. Patrick’s Church in Cambridge, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.
